Samer Koussayer, MD, FACS, RVT, FUHM
Dr. Samer Koussayer currently serves as the section head and consultant at the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Division of the King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center. Dr. koussayer also serves as an associate Professor, Teaching Faculty and Coordinator of the Undergraduate surgical clerkship program at the Al Faisal University, College of Medicine.
He completed his training in General Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, and in Vascular Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Also did specialized fellowship in Endovascular surgery with Dr Edward B.Diethrich at Arizona heart institute, Arizona. He recently trained in percutaneous AV fistula technique in England.
He is board certified in vascular surgery from USA and has more than 21years experience in all aspect of vascular and endovascular surgery.
He is active in research and has special interest in A-V access surgery and central venous occlusion .
Dr. Koussayer is invited speaker in many national and international vascular conferences in Australia, Asia, Europe, Africa and USA.
